Psychiatric debarment provides
services as an outpatient basis for all eligible patients, morning and
afternoon clinics, during all days of the week except Friday and Saturday.
Services are provided by one
consultant psychiatrist, tow senior psychiatrists and tow clinical psychologists
for all psychiatric pathologies and for all ages both males and females.
Emergencies are handled in
emergency room of the hospital which is open on a 24 hour basis.
One psychiatrist is on – call to
cove off hours, weekends and holidays.
Psychiatric consultation,
treatment and follow up are provided for all patients who are admitted in other
departments if needed.
Two psychologists provide their
services ( psychotherapy , psychological tests & counseling ) via four
outpatient clinics a week.
The psychologists had MBBS in
psychology.
