The Department of
pediatrics in PSAFHM provides different services for ministry of defence
personnel and their families, including the following:
- Pediatric intensive care unit :
for treatment of critically ill children under supervision of a pediatric
intensivist.
- Pediatric in- patient ward: for
treatment of different general childhood diseases supervised by general
pediatric consultants.
- Out-Patient specialised clinics:
from Sunday to Thursday including general pediatrics, neonatology and pediatric
cardiology.
- There are pediatric specialists
available 24 hours within the hospital for attending to children with
emergencies and in- patients.
