The Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology at Prince Sultan Armed forces hospital Madinah consists of a select
group of consultants, senior specialists and specialists, in addition to
midwives and nursing staff at a distinguished level. They all perform the
following task:
First: In obstetric filed.

women, carrying out pregnancy follow-up, ultrasound examination of cases, and
early diagnosis of any complications that may occur during pregnancy or during
childbirth. It provides a special service for high- risk pregnancies.
Second: In gynecology field. The
department offers many services in the field of gynecology, whether diagnostic,
as well as performing many surgeries such as TOT and performing delicate surgeries
for the fallopian tubes, such as
removing adhesions, whether through the abdomen or through laparoscope either by
multi-pore laparoscopy or single- pore.
Third: In the field of
laparoscopic surgery, Ob&Gyn. Department is one of the leading departments
that show interest in the field of
endoscopy, whether laparoscopy or hysteroscopy.
Fourth: In oncology field: Ob&Gyn.
Department pays great attention to screening and early diagnosis of malignant
lesion that affect the reproductive system, especially uterine cancer and
cervical.
